As we all know Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful. Yes, the day may be filled with lots of family, food and football, but most important, it’s a time to be thankful for all the blessings in our life.
We spent this last week sharing something we were truly thankful for each day but we saved the big one for today; for the day when our kitchens are full; our plates our full; our bellies are full. The day when not everyone else can say the same. Something we so often take for granted.
Samantha is a great cook and over the last few weeks she has made us some delicious, simple and healthy meals. We hope to start sharing a few of these with you someday soon, but the real point is that we aren’t going hungry. Our bellies are full not only today, but everyday with delicious and healthy foods. We’re blessed to be able to fuel our bodies each day whether we’re getting in a tough WOD at an event, driving to the next destination, or hanging out for a couple days somewhere.
We know everyone can’t say the same which is one reason why this month’s cause with Sweat Angels was so close to our hearts. We want to help feed these families who can’t guarantee a warm meal on the table each night. If we can do anything this month, if we can make any kind of impact, we sure hope it’s feeding hungry families.
