Carolina CrossFit Recap, Katie’s Rhymes Will Make You Scream “Oh, snap!”

Sam was sick another day

But we wouldn’t let it get in the way

With an event on the calendar

Katie dabbed on the lavender

Set her alarm super early

And with her hair really  curly

She would take on this event

With the best of intent


The WOD was the Filthy Fifty

And it was pretty nifty

50 Box Jumps, Pull-ups and Swings

All sort of fun little things

50 Walking Lunges and Knees to Elbow

You better find a good tempo

50 Push Press, Back Extension and Wall Balls

It’s great to let it fall

Finish with 50 Burpees and 50 Double Unders

Hit the Ground and hear the thunder


Five, Six and Seven AM

Took on this WOD like a gem

Katie did the WOD at eight

It didn’t feel really great

The next group was at noon

And not a minute too soon

Then the evening classes came

And we continued the game


Taking donations for Soles4Souls

And hitting our fundraising goals

We bit Carolina CrossFit goodbye

And in the blink of an eye

We were well on our way

For a day off in the sun to play.
